Madden NFL 21 Beta First Impressions

  • EA Sports will release Madden NFL 21 to the public next month, but some players will be able to try the early Beta version of the game during the weekend of July 4. The closed Beta version allows players to participate in most completed Exhibition game modes and face off locally or against online opponents.

After playing several games over the weekend, it is easy to see that EA tried to inherit many things that make the mechanism of MUT Coins great. The look and feel of the game are very similar, and there hasn't been much change this year. Many significant differences are small. For example, in Madden 21, running with the ball feels smoother and more precise. All movements of the ball carrier are more natural, which is probably the first thing the player notices.

The most exciting change in "Madden 21" (at least compared to the change in beta) actually happened in the game. Madden completely reformed the control measures of the defense line. Now, the D line is no longer subject to bounce and uses various buttons to enter the quarterback, but is controlled by the right joystick. Each direction is matched with a different line of movement, which allows the player to control the liner's better path to the backcourt. Instantly becomes smooth and natural.

There are some trivial shortcomings in this Beta, although they are quite small and natural in nature, it can be easily fixed for the full version in August. The speed of some players is not suitable. Although Tom Brady is certainly slower than Lamar Jackson, the difference is not much. The quarterback's playing field seems a bit mediocre. This is not very realistic, especially for those who play with Jackson and Patrick Mahoms.

The user-controlled defenders also seem to slow down. This may not be as compelling as a quarterback, but those who control defensive backs will certainly be frustrated by it.

All in all, the "Madden 21" beta shows that EA has not tried to solve the unresolved problems. Madden Coins can be performed in the final game, thus eliminating any problems found in Beta. Any possible big changes in the game will appear in the game mode itself.
